Gogi Yogi is a Korean Barbecue Restaurant and Bar in Shaw, Washington DC. We are excited to be the only table top Korean Barbecue restaurant in this great city. This project comes to you from the team behind Duke's Grocery and Duke's Counter.
The kitchen is led by Patrice Cunningham, a Korean/African-American Chef born and raised in Washington DC who grew up cooking Korean and American food with her mother, who is still teaching her. “My mom’s been coming in here, putting her touch on things,” Cunningham told Eater DC. “She’ll just come in and say ‘Hey, I think you should add more this,’ or ‘Add more that.’ She’ll adjust some of the recipes to make sure the flavors from where I grew up are there.”
Guests seated at the grill tables select from a variety of meat, poultry, pork, seafood and vegetables to be cooked in front of them. Guests at the bar can order the full menu with items prepared in the kitchen. There is a full bar available to all guests. While many items on the menu do not have glutens as ingredients, we cannot and do not guarantee a 100% gluten-free or allergen-free environment. All items and pricing are subject to change without notice.
Reservations are available for groups of 4-10 guests via Resy. For groups of 10+, please email GogiYogi.BBQ@gmail.com. If you come to your reservation with less than 4 guests, your reservation will no longer be valid and you will be added to the wait list. All guests must arrive within 15 minutes of the reservation time; otherwise the reservation is subject to modification or cancellation.
Parties of two or more are welcome to put their name on the wait list at any time for a grill table. In order to keep some grill tables available for walk-ins, we do not make all tables available on Resy. The grill tables are for groups of two or more only. Individual guests are welcome to join us at the bar, where the full menu is also available. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
