Gogi Yogi Korean Steakhouse & Bar is Washington's first Korean BBQ restaurant with table top grills, and was voted "Best Korean Restaurant" in the Washington City Paper's Best of DC 2020 after being open for one year. This project comes to you from the team behind Duke's Grocery and Duke's Counter.
The menu was designed by Patrice Cunningham, a Korean/African-American Chef born and raised in Washington DC who grew up cooking Korean and American food with her mother. “My mom’s been coming in here, putting her touch on things,” Cunningham told Eater DC. “She’ll just come in and say ‘Hey, I think you should add more this,’ or ‘Add more that.’ She’ll adjust some of the recipes to make sure the flavors from where I grew up are there.”
Guests seated at the grill tables select from a variety of meat, poultry, pork, seafood and vegetables to be cooked in front of them. Guests on the Patio or at the front window can order the full menu with items prepared in the kitchen. There is a full bar available to all guests. While many items on the menu do not have glutens as ingredients, we cannot and do not guarantee a 100% gluten-free or allergen-free environment. All items and pricing are subject to change without notice.
Reservations are available for groups of 2-6 guests via Resy. Patio seating is also available, and you can also bring KBBQ to your home with Takeout and Delivery. Due to current D.C. regulations, the maximum group size is 6. If guests arrive later than 15 minutes of the reservation time, the reservation is subject to modification or cancellation.
We look forward to the opportunity to serve you. Geonbae!
